Agency and is provided for estimating purposes only. Actual energy savings may
vary based on use and other factors.
Instructions:
Before beginning, gather the statements for your last months Heating or Cooling
bill. Be sure to enter your on values into each GRAY FIELD. (Note: Do NOT
double click in these fields. Click ONCE in the gray field and type in
your current information.

Choose the type of system you have.

Enter the number of units you own (or want).
3.
Enter your current Gas ($/therm) or Electric ($/kWh) rate from your Gas or
Electric Bill.

Enter the estimated cost of the new EnergyMiserâ„¢ Unit (Energy Star Qualified)
5.
Enter the cost of your old system under Conventional Unit
6.
Enter the Efficiency (AFUE) rating of the new unit (EnergyMiserâ„¢ 9600, enter
96.0)
7.
Enter the Efficiency (AFUE) rating for your Old Conventional Unit.
8.
Enter the size or capacity of the new unit (Btu/hr).
9.
Enter the size or capacity of your old unit (Btu/hr).
The calculator will show you your annual operating cost verses your old unit,
how much you will save over the life of the unit, and how many years it will
take for these savings to pay for the new unit's cost.
It even offer an example of how this reduction in air pollution equates in acres
of forest and number of cars removed from the road.
